  I submitted prescriptions for 2 items intending to return for later pickup. When I returned the next day I was told they did not have one of the two items but they had ordered it and it would be there the following day. I returned late afternoon the next day to be told it had not been in their order but they had checked with another of their outlets and it was going to be dropped off at this pharmacy that evening. I requested they call me when they received it. They assured me it would be there but they would still call as soon as it was in. They did not call until the afternoon of the next day. I returned yet again and after a 20 minute weight to pick it up (they only have one pick-up counter and they serve only one person at a time.).

  The Guardian Pharmacy has a near monopoly in Elmsdale to Shubenacadie to Stewiacke area and they have not keep up with the growth in their business. Their pharmacy is extremely slow, they often have to order in your items OR they will only be able to partially fill your prescription requiring you to return later for the remainder. The only reason to do business with this pharmacy is if you live in the area and don't have the opportunity to go elsewhere.
